Belt and Road Science Organizations Join Hands to Tackle Common Challenges
The alliance has attracted a pool of academies and science institutes from Russia, Chile, Bangladesh, Belgium, Thailand and much more. Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), as the backbone of the alliance, said their priorities include international science programs on climate change, regional disaster reduction, diseases and health. Bai Chunli, president of the CAS, said ANSO would be committed to promoting regional sustainable development, academic capacity building, cooperation and exchanges in science, technology and innovation.
