China announced on Thursday ten role models of scientists and technicians who are at the frontline in the technology sector.

Six organizations, including the China Association for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Chinese Academy of Sciences have hosted the event to celebrate their contribution to the field.

The awarded people have distinctive stories as some made breakthroughs in tech innovation while some endured difficult conditions to put in the effort. While what they share in similarity is they all help push the technology forward. (CGTN)
