Senior official visits Institute of Materia Medica
Research institutes should strengthen their collaboration with the business sector in new drug development by establishing industry-academia partnership in real terms, says Mr. LI Changchun, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
Li made the remarks on a visit to the CAS Shanghai Institute of Materia Medica (SIMM) on the morning of Feb. 6 in Shanghai. He spoke highly of SIMM research achievements on new drug development and encouraged the researchers there to make further contributions to the development of China's pharmaceutical industry.
