Information system for SARS forecast and control put into operation

    An information system for SARS forecast and control has been developed by the CAS Institute of Geographical Sciences and Natural Resources Research after a dozen days of hard work. With the help of the system, scientists are able to map development of the epidemic in this country. As from May 8, six researchers of the Institute have been working with the information center under the Ministry of Health to provide technical support for information processing and mapping of the epidemic situation.
