CAS marine biologist receives Crustacean Society Award

Prof. LIU Ruiyu, a marine biologist from the CAS Institute of Oceanology, has been awarded the Crustacean Society Award for Excellence in Research (TCSAER) in 2007. The awarding ceremony was held on 22 October in Qingdao.

Prof. Liu, who is also a CAS Member, is one of the founders of marine benthic ecology in China, and a pioneer of carcinology, making outstanding contributions to marine biology and aquaculture in China.
