Xinjiang leaders consult with academicians on local development

On the afternoon of 29 August, leaders of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region attended a meeting to listen to suggestions made by the CAS Members and other experts on the development and utilization and local energy and water resources.

    Jointly organized by the CAS Academic Divisions and the Xinjiang Association for Science and Technology, the confence was attended by high-level officials, including the Region's Party Secretary WANG Lequan, the Regions' Chairman Nuer Baikeli, and Vice President of CAS LI Jinghai.
