USTC students win gold medal at Beijing Olympics

On 15 August, DU Jing and YU Yang, two sophomores from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) under CAS, defeated South Korea's LEE Hyo Jung and LEE Kyung Won to take the gold medal in women's badminton doubles in the Beijing Olympic Games


    On 15 August, DU Jing and YU Yang, two sophomores from the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) under CAS, defeated South Korea's LEE Hyo Jung and LEE Kyung Won to take the gold medal in women's badminton doubles in the Beijing Olympic Games.

    Both Du and Yu are studying sports communication at the USTC School of the Humanities and Social Science. "They are the pride of all the USTC students and their excellent accomplishment and enterprising spirit will offer an incentive to their fellow schoolmates," says CAS President LU Yongxiang.
