CAS institute co-hosts a forum on urban safety in Beijing
As a component of the 11th China Beijing International High-tech Expo (CHITEC), a forum under the theme of Science and Technology Innovation and Urban Security was held in on May 22 in Beijing.
Under the joint auspices of the CAS Institute of Policy and Management (IPM) and other governmental departments, institutions and mass media in Beijing, the forum focused on two topics: operation and security management at an Olympic city, and case analyses in urban security and new technology.
IPM Director-general Prof. MU Rongping made a keynote report on urban operation and managerial innovation at the meeting. And Prof. CHEN Rui gave a talk on the urban operation and public service innovation.
