From September 7 to 9, the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering (NIMTE) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) held the fifth "Belt and Road" Forum for International Young Scholars. A total of more than 60 scholars from more than 10 countries, including UK, Germany, USA, Singapore, Sweden, etc., participated in the forum with an online audience of more than 3,000.

This forum included 1 main forum and 5 sub-forums on materials technology, new energy technology, advanced manufacturing and biomedical engineering.

The "Belt and Road" International Young Scholars Forum aims to discuss cutting-edge scientific issues and key technical difficulties through special reports, academic seminars, visits, etc., thus promoting exchanges and cooperation in related fields.

Through on-site communication and cloud forum, more than 100 overseas young talents have been effectively recruited through the forum since 2018.
