R&D on VRFB has been undergoing since 2001 at the Dalian Institute of Chemical Physcis(DICP). The 100 KW class VRFB system was successfully developed in November, 2008 at DICP. This system is the first set of 100 KW VRFB in China. At present, DICP has cooperated with enterprises to propel the industrialization of VRFB and accelerate the popularization of the regenerable energy resource utilization.
