A new ionic liquid catalysts with selfowned intellectual property suitable for the trioxymethylene production has been successfully developed by the Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics. The continuous cyclic technology for synthesizing trioxymethylene catalyzed by ionic liquid was developed. The pilot synthesis techniques for ionic liquids were also constructed and realized. This successful pilot test laid a foundation for trioxymethylene and correlative technology development. This has got one international patent authorization and applied for three patents at home and abroad. The 2,000t/a industrial scale pilot test jointly developed with China National Offshore Oil Group was successfully practised in Hainan on its first start-of-run and all indexes reached design requirements.
