
Images of entire surface of the moon obtained by the first lunar probe Chang’e I
The first images of entire surface of the moon produced by Chang'e I lunar probe data was announced officially in November 2008. So far they are the most complete, most comprehensive images announced in the world. The image possessing data integrity, rich information, high signals to noise ratio and good quality. Comparing with the Clementine images data announced by the United States, China's lunar atlas of images have more geometric registration accuracy, data integrity and consistency, color image processing and splicing quality, it’s much better than a similar image of the United States. |
