The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) accepted Wireless Networks for Industrial Automation- Process Automation (WIA-PA), as a publicly available specification (PAS).The WIA-PA was developed by working group led by the Shenyang Institute of Automation (SIA), with 96% positive vote of all the members of IEC on October 31st, 2008. I t was published as IEC/PAS 62601. SIA and other ten organizations and companies, resolved the problems such as anti-jamming, real-time communication and low-power working, and set up the architecture with self-owned intellectual property. The architecture successfully became an international criterion. The publication of the criterion indicated that P.R.C. has already owned the advanced technologies in the field of the industrial wireless communication, validated the correctness of developing for the industrial measurement and control systems with self-owned intellectual property. |
