The Secretary of the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee YU Zhengsheng and CAS President LU Yongxiang attended the signing ceremony for the agreement of further advancing the S&T cooperation between CAS and Shanghai Municipality and the nameplate-unveiling ceremony of CAS Shanghai Pudong S&T Park on 26 September in Shanghai.
In this new round of cooperation, the two sides will join forces to enhance the innovation capacity of Shanghai, build up an ecotype S&T innovation base and further transfer the economic growth mode. New objectives for CAS-Shanghai cooperation also include multi-directional development in the frontiers of physical and life sciences and areas such as information technology, energy, materials, biology and ecological environment. They will also hold hands to promote the establishment of the joint mega-science projects and S&T platforms. |
