| Prof. LU Yongxiang meets with Dr. Bruce Alberts |

In the capacity of co-chair of the InterAcademy Council (IAC), CAS President LU Yongxiang held talks with Dr. Bruce Alberts, the other co-chair of IAC and editor-in-chief of Science magazine in Beijing on 24 September.
The two leaders agreed that IAC could carry out studies concerning food safety. They also exchanged ideas on various issues ranging from young scientists training, S&T evaluation to system reform of research institutes. |
