| CAS renews cooperation protocol with Vietnamese counterpart |

On 2 September, CAS Vice President LI Jiayang met with visiting Deputy Director of the Vietnamese Academy of Science and Technology Pham Van Quy and his entourage in Beijing. On behalf of their organizations, the two leaders renewed the cooperative agreement between the two sides.
Prof. Li made suggestions on conducting further cooperative research in fields such as biodiversity protection and exploitation, agricultural technology, marine resources, epidemic diseases such as avian flu, development of the greater Mekong sub-region, and space technology. |
