Long March 6 developing plan launches implementation of the Long March 6 space rocket development plan officially began recently, Chinanews reported yesterday.
The Long March 6 space rocket, which is being developed by the Number 8 academy of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), will be equipped with the latest technologies, and it will not emit toxins or pollution into the atmosphere.
The first Long March 6 rocket will be ready for launch in 2013, according to the website of CASC.
CASC's Number 8 academy began discussing the development of the Long March 6 as early as 2000, and CASC officially decided to assign the task to the academy in July last year. (Chinadaily) |
