| NSFC Opens Research Fellowship for International Young Scientist |

40 young scientists from 17 countries receive a Research Fellowship for International Young Scientist opened by National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) for talented young international researchers this year.
Receivers will get financial support of about 100,000 RMB for half year or 200,000 RMB for a year. The total amount of the fund this year comes up to 10 million Yuan.
Applicants for the fellowship should be doctors under 35 years old and have done fundamental research or post-doctoral research for at least three years in renowned Chinese universities or research institutes. The applicants should also follow Chinese laws and the regulations of NSFC.
The fellowship will open for applicants once a year during its test period. However, application for 2010' fellowship will have two opportunities, one ends at the end of this year and the other at the end of next May for recommended applicants and a month later respectively for individual ones. |
