| CAS renews cooperation pact with its Indian counterpart |

From 15 to 21 December, CAS Vice President LI Jinghai paid a visit to India. On 19 December, he visited the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) and met with its Vice President T. P. Singh.
They reviewed the friendly ties between the two academies over the past years, and agreed that, while continuously promoting cooperation and exchanges between scientists of the two countries, effort will also be made to accelerate the collaborations between the international and regional S&T organizations in Asia. After the talk, the two leaders signed an agreement to renew the cooperation protocol between the two sides.
During his trip, Prof. Li attended the 8th International Conferences on Gas-Liquid and Gas-Liquid-Solid Reactor Engineering held from 16 to 19 in New Delhi and made a plenary lecture entitled Explorations on the MultiScale Flow Structure and Stability Condition Columns in Bubble Columns. He also participated in a symposium on structural biology jointly held by CAS and INSA from 21 to 24 at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore. |
