The 2007 annual meeting for communications between CAS and the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) was held on 18 December in Beijing. It was attended by a 20-strong delegation led by CAS Executive Vice President BAI Chunli and a party of NSFC senior officials headed by NSFC President CHEN Yiyu.

At the meeting, NSFC Vice Secretary-General HE Minghong gave a talk on NSFC funding profiles in 2007 while Director-General of the CAS Bureau of Basic Research LI Ding made a presentation on basic research at CAS. |
